But really, who is? I’m certainly not. Kudos to Delmon Young for not only keeping the play in front of him, but also not allowing the baseball to get lodged in his brain via his nasal passage. In an alternate universe, that baseball hits him in the face and he goes on the 7-day concussion disabled list. And that would be bad, because he’s actually been a (somewhat) positive contributor so far this season for the Orioles (0.2 fWAR). Amazingly enough, according to Fangraphs, his bat has been the LEAST productive part of his game so far in 2015 (90 wRC+).  Maybe this is the alternate universe. If Delmon Young starts growing a goatee, we’ll know for sure.
